In this case, we ask that you remain at reception, and the vet emergency clinical staff will be with you as soon as possible to update you on your pet’s condition. At Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency in Greensboro, we offer 24/7 emergency services for cats and dogs in. If your pet is suffering from a serious condition, they will be admitted to our treatment room by one of our staff so that the veterinarian can begin their assessment and emergency treatment immediately. When you arrive, we will ask you to complete a registration form whilst your pet is assessed by one of the trained staff.Your pet will be assessed by our trained vet emergency staff on arrival. Our emergency veterinarians see patients in order of urgency of the condition, which may mean that patients that are currently stable may have long waiting times. Please note that waiting times are unpredictable and are subject to constant change. Whilst you do not need an appointment to see one of our vet emergency veterinarians, we recommend that you call before coming to see us, so that we can advise you of any first aid measures that may be appropriate for your pet’s condition.If your regular veterinarian is closed, unable to see you, or you do not have a regular veterinarian, AAERC’s vet emergency department is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.If you can call to let us know you are coming, we can be as prepared as possible on your arrival. Our emergency hospital provides emergency care on a triage (most critical first) basis. In an emergency you do not need an appointment for your pet at Advanced Vetcare.
